Jordan Ulrich joined the Boston University Department of Athletics as an assistant strength & conditioning Coach in May 2022. In his role at BU, Ulrich works with the cross country, track and field, and women’s basketball teams.
Before joining the Terriers, Ulrich was at the Colorado School of Mines for one year, working with men’s soccer and men’s golf while assisting with baseball, football, softball, women’s basketball and wrestling. Before working at Mines, Ulrich spent three years at Metropolitan State University of Denver as an assistant strength & conditioning coach. At MSU Denver, his duties included overseeing the men’s soccer, women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, cross country, and track & field teams, as well as assisting with the Roadrunners' other athletic programs.
Ulrich holds several certifications, including Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), USA Weightlifting (USAW), Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist (FRCms), and Exos Performance Specialist (XPS). As well as being CPR/AED certified.Â
A native of Denver, Colorado, Ulrich finished his undergrad at MSU Denver with his bachelor’s degree in human performance and sport (exercise science) and finished his master’s degree in applied exercise science (strength and conditioning) through Concordia University Chicago. As a student-athlete, he played lacrosse at Le Moyne.
Ulrich resides in Somerville with his wife, Kelly.
