Following scorching Delaware for 25 points, freshman Katie Nelson has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of The Week
The Patriot League Rookie of the Week connected on 10-of-16 shots from the floor in BU’s 85-79 overtime win at Delaware on Sunday. The Falmouth, Massachusetts native added in a team-high seven assists and four steals, and notched seven points in the extra frame to guide the Terriers to their first win at Delaware since 1992.
Nelson leads the Patriot League in assists (18), assists per game (6.0) and leads all freshmen in the league with 13.3 points per game.
