Women’s Basketball Visits Navy for PL Quarterfinal Clash

BOSTON – Continuing its run in the 2026 Patriot League Championship, the No. 8-seed Boston University women's basketball program travels to top-seeded Navy for the quarterfinal round on Monday (March 9). Opening tip from Alumni Hall is set for 7 p.m.
BU (11-19, 6-12 PL) has reached the quarterfinals in every season under fifth-year head coach Melissa Graves. A win would mark a return to the semifinals for the first time since 2024.
Navy (21-7, 16-2 PL) is hosting its Patriot League quarterfinal after garnering its fourth Patriot League regular season championship. The Mids enter the contest having won 14 of their last 15 games.
The winner of Monday's contest, the latest to tip off among the four quarterfinal affairs, will face the winner of No. 4-seed Lehigh and No. 5-seed Loyola Maryland.

- BU dispatched No. 9-seed American in the first round, 69-58, on March 7 at Case Gym.
- The Terriers outlasted the Eagles, who nearly erased a 12-point BU lead, by ending the game on a 9-0 run in the final 3:47.
- Senior Anete Adler scored 17 of her team-leading 21 points in the second half.
- Sophomore Hildur Gunnsteinsdóttir dropped 13 points while freshman Kate Allard set personal bests with 12 points and six rebounds.

- Navy captured its first Patriot League regular season title in 12 years while setting a program mark for Patriot League victories.
