Men Topple Central Connecticut State

Freshman Victor Paguia (Lake Forest, IL) placed first by wide margins in the one- and three-meter dives to lead the Boston University swimmng and diving team to a 145-91 win over Central Connecticut State University on December 8.
Paguia scored a 317.775 in the one meter, besting the second place finisher by over 100 points. He scored a 300.975 in the three meter, 97 points better than CCSU's Dave Maldar.
The Terriers' relay teams also earned first place finishes in the meet. The 400 medley relay team of seniors David Rozado (Madrid, Spain), Jeff Graves (Rockwell, TX), sophomore Ryo Takano (Ardsley, NY), and freshman Chris Collins (Phoenix, AZ) took first with a time of 3:41.58. The 400 freestyle relay team of junior Doug Mark (College Point, NY), sophomore Jay Toutant (Madison, WI) and freshmen Dave Brown (Fallbrook, CA), and Graves placed first with a time of 3:18.04.
With the victory, the men's record improved to 3-1 on the season. They are next in action on Thursday, January 3 in the Forum Classic.
