Tess Miller spent the past year rowing for the St. Catharine's Rowing Club, which has been a perennial powerhouse for junior rowing in Canada for several years. What makes her progress particularly noteworthy is that she has rowed for just one year. Her primary sport has been rugby, and she is one of the bright young rugby stars in Canada. In fact, she has been on Canada's under-19 national team for four years. However, in just one year, she has made the transition to rowing very easily.
