Manhattan Men's Golf Defeats B.U. And MIT

BROOKLINE, Mass.- Manhattan College's Martin Tobias and Corey Barringer each shot 80 to lead the Jaspers to a men's golf victory over Boston University and MIT at Brookline Golf Club on Friday, April 16.
Overall, Manhattan shot a 324, 16 strokes better than the Terriers, who carded a 340. MIT was third with a 373.
Freshman Steven Smith (Dix Hills, N.Y.) led the Terriers with an 82, while junior Brad Thompson (Beaver, Pa.) and freshman Jordan Delaney (Point of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies) both had an 84.
MIT's low scorer was Lucas Ruprecht, who came in with a 90.
Only the top four scores for each team counted to the team total.
B.U. next competes at the New England Championship in Providence on April 17-18, before preparing for the America East Championship on May 3-4 at Blackledge Country Club in Hebron, Conn.
