Hendry and Shaw Selected to Hockey East All-Star Team

BOSTON ??? Boston University women???s hockey players, Captain Cara Hendry and Amanda Shaw were selected to the Women???s Hockey East All-Star team that will play the U.S. Women???s Olympic Team on Dec. 11, at the University of New Hampshire???s Whittemore Center in Durham, N.H. Hendry and Shaw join the top players in Hockey East as they look to compete against the best players in the United States.
???In very short order both girls have distinguished themselves within the league,??? said Head Coach Brian Durocher. ???Cara is an established player who will represent the team well and it is an honor for Amanda to be selected as a freshman.???
Shaw joins New Hampshire freshmen Kayce Bellamy and Angela Taylor and Boston College freshmen Maggie Taverna and Becky Zavisa as the only rookies on the team.
