Wilcox Named Hockey East ITECH Rookie of the Week

BOSTON ??? Freshman goaltender Allyse Wilcox (Grand Blanc, Mich.) was named Hockey East ITECH Rookie of the Week for her 34 saves in a 1-0 overtime loss to Connecticut on Sunday, Nov. 20. Wilcox has made 25 saves in nine of the twelve games she???s started, while tallying more than 30 in five of them. She is currently second in the nation in minutes played with 756 over 13 games.
This is the third honor Wilcox has recieved this season. She was named Rookie of the Week on Oct. 10, and Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 24.
The Terriers host Robert Morris University on Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27 at Walter Brown Arena. Both games start at 3 p.m.
