Men???s Golf 11th After 2 Rounds of Dartmouth Invite

The Boston University men???s golf team shot 653 (+77) in the first two rounds of the Dartmouth Invitational Sunday afternoon, good for 11th place in the 13-team field. The Terriers??? opening their season at the 54-hole event in Hanover, NH, are 66 strokes behind leader Johnson & Wales University, which carded a 587 (+11). The field played 36 holes at the Hanover Country Club on Sunday and will conclude the event with 18 holes Monday morning.
BU was led by senior Remy Sloan (Montvale, NJ) who shot 153 (+11), including a solid 73 (+2) in the opening round. Sloan is tied for 16th overall, 10 strokes behind leader Adam Scimenci of Johnson & Wales. Freshman Chris Conroy (Annapolis, MD), making his collegiate debut, shot 159 (+17) to finish tied for 34th, while junior Steven Smith (Dix Hills, NY) carded a 167 (+25) good for 49th place. The Terriers??? performance was concluded by senior Jed Prescott (New London, NH) who shot 174 (+32), and junior Mark DiCristofaro (Macungia, PA), 183, +41.
Monday???s final round begins at 7:30 a.m.
