Men???s Golf Finishes 10th At Dartmouth Invite

The Boston University men???s golf team shot 323 in the final round of the Dartmouth Invitational Monday afternoon to finish in 10th place. The Terriers??? jumped up a spot after Sunday???s first two rounds and finished at 976 (+124) at the Hanover Country Club in Hanover, NH. Johnson & Wales (Fla.) took home the team honors, shooting 873 (+21)
Individually, BU was led by senior Remy Sloan (Montvale, NJ) who finished 10th overall, carding a 225 (+12) 54-hole score. Only four players in the 66-man filed shot better than Sloan???s final round 72. Adam Scimenci of Johnson & Wales walked off with medalist honors, shooting 212 (-1), including a blistering 69 on Monday. Terrier freshman Chris Conroy (Annapolis, MD), making his collegiate debut, shot 242 (+29) to finish tied for 39th, while junior Steven Smith (Dix Hills, NY) carded a 253 (+40) good for a 53rd-place tie place. Additionally, senior Jed Prescott (New London, NH) shot 257 (+44), and junior Mark DiCristofaro (Macungia, PA) shot 268 (+55).
The Terriers??? next action is Sept. 24-25, when they head to Bristol, Ct., to play in the Blue Devil Classic.
