Men's Swimming and Diving Routs Holy Cross, 123-100

The BU men’s swimming and diving team opened the new year in style with a 123-100 victory over Holy Cross Saturday afternoon in Worcester, Mass. The Terriers improved to 3-3 in dual meet competition with the win.
BU was led by the following, who won their respective events: Michael Bear (100 free, 10:20.92); James Lands (200 free, 1:52.92); Griffin Moodie (50 free, 23.37; ;100 free, 55.21); Greg Dierksen (500 free, 4:59.10; 100 free, 50.84), Adam Motowidlo (100 breast, 1:04.02); Ryan Falk (200 IM, 2:05.47); and Mike Kelly (100 fly, 54.07). All told, the Terriers captured nine events on the day, including every swimming event in which they competed.
BU returns to the pool on Tuesday, Jan. 24, when the Terriers face Boston College at the Fitness and Recreation Center on BU’s campus.
