Men's Golf Competes at Yale's MacDonald Cup

BOSTON - The Boston University men's golf team competed at the Yale MacDonald Cup on Saturday and Sunday, finishing in 17th place with a three-round total of 1017. Akhilesh Chitlangia was BU's top golfer, placing 58th with rounds of 80, 78 and 86.
Jason Green and Wayne Hopkins tied for 87th place with a three-round total of 259. Green shot rounds of 93, 81 and 85, while Hopkins shot a 90, 85 and 84. Rounding out BU's golfers were Steven Smith (97-89-85--261) and Dion Travagliante (94-83-87--264).
The men's golf team will compete at the ECAC Division I Championship on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15.
