Women's Golf Places Fourth at Monmouth Hawk Spring Invitational

Monmouth, N.J. - The Boston University women's golf team placed fourth at the Monmouth Hawk Spring Invitational in Monmouth, N.J., on Monday, April 1. Sophomore Allison Hamilton was BU's highest finisher, landing in fifth place with a two-day total of 159. Classmate Lauren Stong also finished in the top ten, completing the course with a score of 167.
As a team, the Terriers shot 687 on the par-71, 5,822-yard course, with Hamilton and Stong representing the Terriers in the top 10 in the 33-player field. Hamilton led the entire field in par-4 scoring, while Hamilton was in a three-way tie for first place with five birdies.
Rounding out the field for the Terriers were Kaitlyn Mardeusz in 21st, Hannah Barry in 25th and Rachel Oppenheimer in 28th.
BU tees-off at the Hartford Invitational on Monday, April 16 in West Hartford, Conn.
