Women's Golf Finishes 10th at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Boston University women's golf team placed 10th in a rain-shortened Princeton invitational that wrapped up after two complete rounds on Saturday morning at Springdale Golf Club.
BU finished 10th among the 12 teams while host Princeton won the title by 10 strokes over runner-up Penn. The Terriers posted scores of 314 and 315 to post a 61-over 629, six strokes behind ninth-place Albany and three strokes ahead of 11th-place Seton Hall.
Senior Amy Han was the Terriers' top finisher, posting a plus-8 150 (74-76) to end up tied for 17th. Sophomore Sophia Zhang tied for 44th after two rounds of 79 while freshman Tatiana Ang tied for 49th at plus-16 after carding an 80 in each round.
Senior Hibiki Adachi shot a 17-over 161 (81-80) to finish tied for 55th and sophomore Wendy Li shot an 81 and 84 to end up tied for 64th. Sophomore Monica Wu rounded out the BU lineup by tying for 69th at plus-24 (83-84).Â
The tournament, which was moved up a day to best avoid the rain storm, started with two rounds on Friday and the vast majority of the golfers were able to get both rounds in before darkness. Those who did not finish their second round headed out Saturday morning to complete them before the third round was canceled.Â
The Terriers will close out their fall schedule next weekend when they participate in the Yale Invitational on Oct. 3 & 4.
