BOSTON - Sophomore Lauren Cherewyk scored five goals in Boston University's two wins last week to earn GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of Week honors.

Cherewyk netted a pair of power-play goals, including the game-winner, in the Terriers' 3-2 upset of No. 4 New Hampshire on Thursday, then notched her first collegiate hat trick in BU's 8-1 win over Maine on Saturday, the third hat trick in program history. In both games, the sophomore winger matched the BU record for power-play goals in a game with two. Cherewyk was named the Hockey East Pure Hockey Player of the Week and now leads the Terriers with five goals this season.
