Senior Brandon Yip has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week after opening the scoring in both games to help the Terriers to a pair of non-conference wins over Holy Cross and St. Lawrence.

Yip scored a power-play goal early in the second period on Tuesday against the Crusaders to give BU a lead it never relinquished, then tallied his sixth goal of the season in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Saints. The veteran winger has played in all 13 games this season and notched 11 points (6g, 5a). A 2004 draft pick of the Colorado Avalanche, Yip has 76 points (31g, 45a) in his 107-game career with the Terriers.
