COLUMBUS, Ohio - Junior diver Tess Waresmith took part in the 2008 NCAA championships in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday afternoon and finished 34th on the one-meter board with 232.90 points. Waresmith will compete on the three-meter on Friday, March 20 at the tournament hosted by Ohio State.
The Dover, Mass., native had qualified for the national championship after placing third on the 3M at the Zone A Diving championship with an overall score of 585.15.
Preliminary rounds will begin in the morning and conclude with the finals at 7:00 p.m.
