Men's Crew Alumnus Daly Wins NSR 2 Lightweight Pair

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - Boston University men's crew alumnus Will Daly paired with Colin Farrell to win final of the lightweight men's pair at the second National Selection Regatta at the Finn M.W. Caspersen Rowing Center on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
Daly and Farrell finished in 6:40.432, nearly three seconds faster than 2004 Olympian Patrick Todd and six-time National Team member Mike Altman's 6:43.5.
Daly and partner have earned the right to race at either the first or second world cup regatta in May, and if they finish in the top four at their chosen regatta, they have the option to be nominated for the 2008 Olympic Team and compete in Beijing.
