
Golf Finishes Third At America East Championship

SIMSBURY, Conn. - The Boston University golf team placed third at the 2008 America East Championship held at the Simsbury Farms Golf Course in Simsbury, Conn. The Terriers carded a 687 over two rounds, and junior Allison Hamilton was the BU's top performer with a sixth-place finish.
Hamilton shot an 84 on day two to complete the two-day tourney with a 166. Freshman Ana Johnson was the next Terrier to complete the course, finishing in 11th overall (89-84--173). Junior Lauren Stong was right behind Johnson in 12th with a two-day total of 177. Rounding out the field for BU was freshman Dana DeStefano (13th, 89-89-179) and sophomore Kaitlyn Mardeusz (83-96-179).
