BU Hosts Youth Sportsmanship Event

BOSTON - Boston University, in conjunction with the America East S.T.A.R.S. (Student-Athletes Advancing Respect through Sports) Sportsmanship Initiative, hosted youth from the local community at women’s ice hockey and men’s soccer on October 3.
Activities began with a pre-game meal with student-athletes to discuss the importance of good sportsmanship and poster making for the game. Youth in attendance were selected to participate in on-ice contests during the game, and everyone was invited to a post-game autograph session and meet-and-greet with the team.
