
Brett Brown Featured on All-Access Live at Noon

BOSTON - Tune in to BU All-Access Thursday at noon to get exclusive access to news and highlights of Terrier athletics from BU players and coaches.
On this week's show, co-host Bernie Corbett will man the operation in the GSU while Brian Maurer will join the broadcast over the phone from San Juan, Puerto Rico where he is covering the men's basketball team.Brian and Bernie will take a look at the BU winter sports teams, all of which are in full swing.
Men's basketball coach Patrick Chambers will call in with an update from Puerto Rico and Aly Hinton will represent the women's team to preview their upcoming game at St. Johns. Fresh off a week where she became the new program scoring leader, Melissa Anderson of the women's ice hockey team will make an appearance, as will Melinda Matyas of the No. 1-ranked women's swimming and diving team. Vinny Saponari of the men's ice hockey team will also be making an appearance on the show.
This week's "Beyond BU" segment will feature Brett Brown, a 1983 graduate of Boston University and current assistant coach of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs. Brown was recently named the head coach of the Australian National Basketball Team and will lead the squad through the World Championships in 2010 and the London Olympics in 2012. Brown was a guard on the BU basketball team from 1979-1983 and earned the Lou Cohen MVP Award as a sophomore, also helping the team to an NIT appearance in 1980 and an NCAA tournament appearance in 1983. He currently stands in fourth on the BU all-time assists list with 404 in his career.
