Mardeusz Qualifies for 2009 US Women's Publinx Championship

BOSTON - For the second year in a row, rising senior Kaitlyn Mardeusz has qualified for the 2009 United States Women's Publinx Championship. Mardeusz, a member of the Boston University women's golf team, shot a 79 in her home state of Michigan to qualify for the amateur national championship.

The tournament will be played at the Red Tail Golf Course in Fort Devens, Mass., starting on Monday, June 22. She is the only Boston University women's golfer to have qualified for a national championship conducted by the United States Golf Association.
