Women's Golf Finishes 17th at Rutgers Invitational

Piscataway, N.J. - The Boston University women's golf team finished 17th overall at the 2010 Rutgers Invitational over the weekend as it carded a 705 at the two-day event. Freshman Christine Silen sat atop the Terriers' leaderboard with a two-day total of 167.
Silen carded an 85 on day one and improved five strokes to an 80 on day two to place 33rd overall. Ana Johnson finished 56th overall with an 85-87-172. She was followed by Jill Eelman (77th, 90-90--180), Dana DeStefano (91st, 95-91--186) and Kaitlin Garske (100th, 97-96--193).
Next weekend the Terriers will take part in the Sacred Heart Invitational on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 in Fairfield, Conn. to close out their fall slate.
