Johnson, DeStefano Named to MAAC Golf All-Academic Team

CELEBRATION, Fla. - Senior Ana Johnson and junior Dana DeStefano are among 42 student-athletes that comprise the 2010 MAAC Men's and Women's Golf All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

DeStefano (Melville, N.Y.) maintains a 3.47 GPA as a hospitality administration major, while Johnson (Oconomowoc, Wis.) boasts a 3.44 as a physical therapy major in the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
