BOSTON - Coxed by freshman Mia Serabian and stroked by classmate Gabby Cutler, the Varsity Four 'A' boat cruised to victory to lead the Terriers to a third-place finish in the Beanpot Saturday morning on the Charles River. Schools competing in the event include repeat champion Radcliffe, Northeastern, Boston College, MIT and guest Columbia.
By finishing fourth in the varsity eight race, the Terriers lost the Council Cup to Northeastern and the Allen-DeWolfe Trophy to Radcliffe.
The Terriers will have two weeks to prepare for the Eastern Sprints, which will be held on Sunday, May 16, on the Cooper River in New Jersey.
