Women's Golf Opens 2010 Season with 17th Place Finish

Hanover, Mass. - The Boston University women's golf team opened its 2010 fall season with a 17th place finish at the Dartmouth Invitational over the weekend. The Terriers went 340 and 352 over the two-day event to finish with a score of 692. Ana Johnson sat atop the Terriers' leaderboard in a tie for 57th (81-88--169).

Rounding out the field of BU competitors, Courtney Dampolo placed 74th (86-88--174), followed by Christine Silen (T-84th, 91-85--176), Jill Eelman (T-84th, 85-91--176) and Dana DeStefano (98th, 88-94--182).

BU will return to the links next weekend at the Mount Holyoke Invitational in South Hadley, Mass. on Sept. 25 and 26.
