
Pavlickova Named MAAC Golfer of the Month

EDISON, N.J. - Sophomore Kristyna Pavlickova of the Boston University golf team was named the MAAC Golfer of the Month, the conference announced on Tuesday.
The Prague, Czech Republic, native was sensational in the Terriers’ first three tournaments of the season. She led BU to first place at the season-opening Bucknell Invitational with an individual title thanks to a total score of 220 (75-71-74), eight shots ahead of her nearest competitor. Her rounds of 71 and 74 were the respective lows for the day.
Pavlickova, the 2012 MAAC Rookie of the Year, had a second-place finish at the Dartmouth Invitational with a two-day total of 145 (72-73) as BU finished second as a team. She closed the month tied for ninth at the ECAC Championship this past weekend with a total of 156 (78-78) as BU claimed first place as a team.
The Terriers, in the midst of the best season in program history, will be back on the course this weekend (Oct. 5-6) when they compete at the Rutgers Invitational.
