EDISON, N.J. - Sophomore Kristyna Pavlickova of the Boston University golf team was named MAAC Golfer of the Month, the conference announced on Thursday.
This is the second straight month that Pavlickova earned the honor, as she was also recognized by the conference for her performance in September.
The reigning MAAC Rookie of the Year, Pavlickova defended her title at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic on Oct. 21-22 after shooting a final-round 72. She finished the two-day tournament with a 148 (76-72) to claim her second victory of the season and guide BU to a third-place finish as a team.
Pavlickova was also the Terriers' top golfer at the Rutgers Invitational on Oct. 5-6 after she shot a 152 (78-74) to tie for eighth individually. The Terriers placed eighth as a team in that tournament.
BU concluded its fall season with two team titles, including the ECAC Championship. The Terriers placed no lower than third in all but one tournament this past fall in what was arguably the program's best season to date.
