After claiming three individual victories to help the Terriers win the 2012 America East Swimming and Diving Championship, senior Daniel Kempf team was named GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

The Austin, Texas, native became the first man in America East history to record a sub 20.00-second performance in the 50 freestyle, as he set the new conference record with a time of 19.88.

Kempf also received gold medals in the 100 freestyle (44.52) and 100 butterfly (48.59) while swimming on the winning 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle and 400 medley relay teams.
