
Pavlickova Named MAAC Golf Rookie of the Year

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Boston University freshman Kristyna Pavlickova was named the 2012 MAAC Golf Rookie of the Year at the conclusion of the MAAC Golf Championship on Sunday, April 29, at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
The Prague, Czech Republic native earns the honor based on her regular season Golfstat rankings. Pavlickova entered the three-day conference tournament as the top ranked golfer in the field with an average score of 78.31.
The rookie captured two individual titles in her freshman campaign. She captured the Sacred Heart Fall Classic individual title in October with a two-day score of 155 (79-76). Recently, the freshman earned top honors at the Hartford Invitational on April 17, as she finished first with a two-day total of 146 (72-74) on the par 72 course.
At the conference championship, Pavlickova was the top finisher for the Terriers with a total of 242 (81-84-77).
