Golf Totals 59 Birdies for Spring Birdies Event

The Boston University women’s golf team concluded is spring season with a total of 59 Birdies as part of its Spring Birdies event.
Prior to the start of the season, the Terriers invited alumni, family and friends to pledge a gift for each birdie that the team sank this season to benefit the Friends of Women’s Golf.
BU began its spring season against Siena on March 13 and totaled four birdies. The Terriers then competed in the two-day Siena Invitational on March 16-17, where they totaled seven birdies.
BU then traveled to Barrington, R.I., on April 8-9 for the Brown Invitational, where they totaled 14 birdies. Next up was Columbia’s Roar-EE Invitational on April 13-14 where BU amassed 11 birdies.
The Terriers closed out the regular season at the Hartford Invitational on April 16-17 with a total of 16 birdies. BU then went on to place fourth at the 2012 MAAC Championship held April 27-28 with a total of seven birdies.
