
Golf Signs Daniela Sanchez For Class of 2016

BOSTON - Daniela Sanchez has signed her National Letter of Intent and will join the Boston University women’s golf team in the fall as announced by head coach Bruce Chalas.
Sanchez will join the Terriers Class of 2016 from Bogota, Colombia, and has international playing experience in representing her native country.
'We are very pleased to have Daniela Sanchez join the golf team in the fall, “said Chalas. "'During the recruiting process Daniela showed a strong passion to want to study at BU and join the golf team. She will be a key member of the team and will give us a lot of depth in the middle of the lineup."
Sanchez has represented Colombia at the Total Junior Invitational in Belgium while also being on her country club’s team that played in the Ryder Cup Tournament. Sanchez has also played in the Teens Green Tournament at the PGA National, as well as the University of Florida’s Tournament. She placed third in the Torneo International Tournament held in Bogota.
Sanchez will enroll in BU’s College of General Studies and join Emily Tillo in the Terriers’ Class of 2016.
