Kristyna Pavlickova of the Boston University women’s golf team has been extended a sponsors invitation by The European Ladies Tour to compete in the 2012 Prague Golf Masters. The 2012-13 Terriers co-captain will compete in the European Ladies Tour event from June 22 to 24 at the Albatross Golf Club in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Prague native is coming off a successful freshman campaign at BU. She claimed the individual title at the Sacred Heart Invitational last October and also placed first at the Hartford Invitational in April.
Pavlickova was BU’s top golfer at the MAAC Championships, as she finished in a tie for fifth place. She was also named the MAAC Rookie of the Year.
Pavlickova is the first golfer from BU to compete in a European Tour event.
