
Golf Team Opens Spring Season at William & Mary Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Boston University golf team opened its spring season with a 14th-place finish at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate this past weekend at Kingsmill Resort.
BU carded a 642 as a team during the two-round tournament, including a 320 in the first round. The Terriers totaled 322 in the final round.
Sophomore Kristyna Pavlickova was the top performer for BU, as she finished tied for 38th individually with a two-round total of 157 (78-79). She made four birdies during the tournament and was 1-under on par fives.
Sophomore Flor Canedo was second on the team with a total of 162 (80-82). Freshmen Emily Tillo (80-84) and Maddy Silverman (85-79) each tied junior Christine Silen (82-82) with a two-round total of 164. Silverman joined Pavlickova as the only player to shoot under 80 in a round over the weekend.
The Terriers will be back in action April 1-2 when they face the College of Charleston at Pinehurst, N.C.
