EDISON, N.J. - Sophomore Kristyna Pavlickova and freshman Emily Tillo of the Boston University golf team were each named to the 2012-2013 MAAC Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.
Tillo, the MAAC Rookie of the Year, maintained a 4.0 GPA as a business administration & management major. The Jacksonville, Fla., native had two top-10 finishes in her first varsity season and finished 13th at the MAAC Championship. She was the only Terrier to break 80 (79) during the final round of that event.
Pavlickova, a three-time MAAC Golfer of the Month honoree during the 2012-13 season, earned a 3.29 GPA while majoring in business administration & management. This is the second straight year that she has been named to the conference's Academic Honor Roll. The Prague, Czech Republic, native won three tournaments and placed second after a playoff in another event.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, an athlete must hold a grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members of the MAAC with athletes represented in all 24 sports that the conference sponsors.
