Cejnarova Chosen as PL Golfer of the Month

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Sophomore Adela Cejnarova of the Boston University golf team was selected as Patriot League Golfer of the Month, the conference announced on Thursday.
Cejnarova has an outstanding October, highlighted by her opening-round performance at the Jacksonville University Courtyard Classic. She fired a program-record three-under-par 69 and eventually finished tied for 11th at that event with a 223 (69-81-73).
The Prague, Czech Republic, native averaged a score of 77.83 in two tournaments comprised of 108 holes. She had three rounds at 80 or better and twice she posted a score of 73 or lower. She helped the Terriers to a program-low round of 294 at Jacksonville and helped BU secure back-to-back top-10 finishes in tough fields.
Cejnarova joins junior Emily Tillo as the only two-time winners of the Patriot League Female Golfer of the Month award. Tillo was honored last month and Cejnarova was last feted as the top golfer this past March.
