Cejnarova Chosen as PL Golfer of the Month

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Freshman Adela Cejnarova of the Boston University golf team was named Patriot League Golfer of the Month, the conference announced Thursday.
Cejnarova shined in the Terriers' first two tournaments of the spring season, as she posted back-to-back top-30 finishes. She tied for 28th at the Kiawah Island Classic on March 2-4 by shooting a 228 (78-71-79). Her second-round 71 was the only under-par round for a Terrier in March as BU combined to card a 299 that day, the top second-round score of any team at the tournament.
The Prague, Czech Republic, native followed that up by finishing in a tie for 19th place at the Pinehurst Challenge on March 15-16 with a 154 (78-76). Cejnarova is the third different Terrier named Patriot League Female Golfer of the Month this season, joining sophomore Emily Tillo (September) and junior Kristyna Pavlickova (October).
In addition to her Patriot League honor, Cejnarova was selected as the ECAC Golfer of the Month on Thursday.
BU will return to action April 5-6 at the Seton Hall Invitational.
