Golf Selected First in PL Championship Poll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Boston University golf team was selected to finish tied for first in the Patriot League Championship Poll, the league office announced on Thursday.
BU garnered six first-place votes and finished in a tie with defending champion Lehigh after each school earned 28 points. The Mountain Hawks earned the other four first-place votes. Bucknell (This is the Terriers' inaugural season in the Patriot League and they will vie for the conference's second-ever conference championship. Bucknell (22 points), Navy (12) and Holy Cross (10) rounded out the poll.
The Terriers enter April as the highest-ranked Patriot League squad on Golfstat. BU is 75 spots above Bucknell and 77 spots above Lehigh as of April 2. The Patriot League Championship will be contested at Lehigh April 19-20.
BU will be back in action April 5-6 at the Seton Hall Invitational.
