
Golf Places Five on PL Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Five members of the Boston University golf team were selected to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Friday morning.
Three sophomores, one freshman and one junior comprise the group of five Terriers that was named to the squad. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester.
Among the selections was sophomore Emily Tillo, who was the Patriot League Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year. She had a 3.87 GPA while majoring in business administration & management. Junior Kristyna Pavlickova, also a business administration & management major, joined Tillo on the Academic All-Patriot League Team thanks to a 3.27 GPA.
Freshman Adela Cejnarova impressed in her debut season as a Terrier both in the classroom and on the course. The international relations major maintained a 3.57 GPA while also being named Patriot League Rookie of the Year. Sophomores Sarah Easton and Daniela Sanchez also earned Academic Honor Roll selections in their first seasons in the Patriot League. Easton had a 3.53 GPA as an archeology major while Sanchez, majoring in political science, secured a 3.45 GPA.
