Golf Finalizes 2014-15 Roster

BOSTON - The Boston University golf team and head coach Bruce Chalas finalized the 2014-15 roster with the addition of Phyllis Tang, Chalas announced on Wednesday.
Tang comes to Boston after spending the past three years at the Heritage Academy in Hilton Head, South Carolina, while also training at the International Junior Golf Academy. She joins a veteran group of Terriers, as BU graduated just one player and will return nine letter winners from last year's squad.
"The BU golf team is excited to welcome Phyllis to our roster," Chalas said. "She is an excellent, hard-working student and she will add depth to our lineup. Phyllis has terrific practice habits and enjoys competing at a high level."
A native of Hong Kong, Tang was ranked as high as eighth in the IJGT 2013-2014 Girls' Rankings. She also tied for third in the 2013 AJGA Davis Love III Junior Open (77-75-73) and tied for fourth at the 2014 AJGA Wells Fargo Junior Classic (72-73).
