After securing her first individual title as a Terrier, junior Emily Tillo of the Boston University golf team has been named GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Tillo was terrific over the two days, highlighted by a two-under round of 70 on Saturday. It was the second time she carded a score under par at Dartmouth after having accomplished that feat last season. Carrying a two-stroke lead into Sunday’s final round, Tillo shot 74 to finish three shots clear of the field and help BU win the team title by 18 strokes.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Tillo was an All-Patriot League selection last season and was also named Patriot League Women’s Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
