
Terriers Compete at Yale Intercollegiate

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Boston University golf team competed at the three-day Yale Intercollegiate this past weekend at The Course at Yale.
BU finished 12th in the 16-team field with a 54-hole score of 933 (315-311-307). The Terriers improved upon their score over each round.
Senior Emily Tillo led the Terriers with a 13th--place performance thanks to three rounds in the 70s. She sank eight birdies over her 54 holes and totaled a 224 (76-75-72). Sophomore Phyllis Tang was next best for BU, as she carded a 234 (78-80-76).
Junior Adela Cejnarova fired a second-round 73 as part of her three-day total of 236 (80-73-83). Senior Maddy Silverman played her best round on Sunday and posted a 240 (81-83-76), while freshman Megan Carter shot a 265 (91-91-83). Senior Sarah Easton competed as an individual and had a 256 (87-84-85).
The Terriers will have a weekend off before their final fall competition at the Palmetto Intercollegiate (Oct. 25-27).
