Terriers Drop First Dual Meet of the Season at UMass

AMHERST, Mass. - The Boston University men's swimming and diving team suffered its first setback of the season, ending in a 176-122 loss at Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon. The Terriers were 2-0 on the season heading into the weekend.
Garrett Chin had the swim of the meet in the 1000 free, which he won in one of the best races of his career. He also took first place in the 200 IM.
Mun Hon Lee and Daniel Andronov also had a pair of first place finishes. Andronov swept the breaststroke competition while Lee took first in both butterfly races.
The Terriers totaled six first place finishes on the day.
BU is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 7 when the Terriers host Fordham in the Competition Pool at 1:30 p.m.
