BOSTON - The Boston University women's ice hockey team will be hosting two upcoming youth hockey initiatives.
On Wednesday, December 30 BU is hosting a free clinic for youth hockey players from 2-3PM at Walter Brown Arena. To register please email your name, age and youth team to GoBU@bu.edu
Youth Hockey Day will be on Saturday, Jan. 9, in conjunction with the Terriers' game against No. 1 Boston College at Walter Brown Arena, scheduled for 3 p.m. There will be free admission for all youth hockey players and teams who register at GoTerriers.com/youthhockey. One team that registers and attends will win a private practice with the Terriers. Following the contest, there will be a postgame autograph session with the team.
BU will enter the game with a 13-7-1 record and a 10-3-1 mark in Hockey East. The Terriers are 7-1-1 in their last nine contests and boast the fifth-best offense in the nation with an average of 3.57 goals per game.
