2016 Schedule
BOSTON - The Boston University golf team, led by head coach Bruce Chalas, has announced its 2016 spring schedule.
BU will play in five tournaments, including the Patriot League Championship. If the Terriers defend their conference title, they will once again earn an automatic bid into an NCAA Regional.
"We're excited about the challenge and competitiveness of our spring schedule," Chalas said. "Our goal is to defend the Patriot League title and get back to the NCAA Regional. This schedule will allow us to get our games where they need to be."
The Terriers will begin the spring where they concluded the fall when they travel to Kiawah Island, South Carolina, for the 54-hole College of Charleston Kiawah Island Classic that begins on Feb. 28. BU will then spend spring break in Las Vegas at the Bucknell Spring Break Classic (March 7-8).
Following the trip to Nevada, the Terriers will return east for the two-day, 54-hole Kingsmill Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary (March 28-29). They will then conclude the regular-season schedule at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational hosted by Bowling Green (April 9-10).
Bucknell will host the Patriot League Championship on April 23 and 24. The teams will play 36 holes on the first day before an 18-hole final round on the 24th. BU won the event by 10 strokes last year.
