Tufts Snowflake Classic
The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams continued their outdoor seasons with a very busy weekend, competing at the 88th Texas Relays in Austin, Texas and at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. In addition, the men's team also competed the Tufts Snowflake Classic in Medford on Saturday.
The weekend competition at the Texas Relays was highlighted by a strong showing in the men's 4 x 200 meter relay. The BU foursome of junior David Lagerberg, sophomore Justin Flynn, freshman Jordan Love and sophomore Cameron Williams posted a mark of 1:25.02, good for 5th place overall and setting a new school record. The same foursome also ran in the 4 x 100 meter relay and had another strong performance, clocking 41.17, which is just .20 seconds off of the Terriers school record that was set in 2014. The BU men's and women's 4 x 400 meter relays also competed, running 3:17.59 and 3:49.05 respectively.
Justin Flynn and Cameron Williams also competed in the men's 100 meter dash with Flynn running a 10.74 and Williams finishing with a time of 10.80. 
On the women's side at the Texas Relays, senior Gemma Acheampong competed in the women's 100m dash, finishing with a time of 11.95. Sophomores Toria Levy and Ally Saccone competed in the women's 100m hurdles with Levy running a 14.28 and Saccone finishing with a time of 14.80.
In the field events, sophomore David Oluwadara set an outdoor personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 15.26 meters (50' 0 ¾") to finish second in the triple jump and senior Ethan Knight threw the shot put 16.28 meters (53' 5") and finished 7th.
On Thursday, the first day of field events, junior Reuben Horace competed in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 53.52 meters (175' 7") good for 21st place overall. Junior Nikolaos Farmakidis finished tied for 10th in the pole vault, clearing a height of 5.05m (16 6¾") which is an outdoor personal best.
While the Texas Relays were going on in Austin, other members of the men's and women's track and field teams were competing in Raleigh, N.C. at the Raleigh Relays.
In the men's 1500 meter, sophomore Ethan Homan ran a personal best time of 3:53.03 and sophomore Matti Groll finished at 3:55.71.
In the men's 800m, senior Stuart Ross finished with a time of 1:53.98 ahead of sophomore Ethan Homan (1:54.15).
Junior Paul Gennaro set a personal best time in the 10000 meters (31:25.02) while sophomore Mitch Russo competed in the men's 5000 meters and finished with a time of 14:43.90.
On the women's side, junior Shelby Stableford ran the 5000 meters in 16:48.66 while sophomore Hallie Armstrong competed in the 3000 meter steeplechase, finishing with a time of 11:05.57.
Juniors Rachel Lottermann (4:45.58) and Erin Pierce (4:53.65), along with senior Ashli Tagoai (4:56.77) rounded out the action, competing `in the women's 1500 meters.
At the Tufts Snowflake Classic, seven members of the BU men's team competed in the 1500 meter competition. Senior Alex Civitano finished 6th with a time of 4:06.86. He was followed by sophomore Tom Cunningham in 11th place (4:09.47), senior Matt Solomon in 12th (4:10.67), senior John McKeon (18th, 4:14.39), junior Syian Srikumar (29th, 4:20.73), sophomore Jake Ferriero (30th, 4:21.89) and senior Zach Marriott (33rd, 4:22.70).
The Terriers next compete at the Tiger Track Classic in Auburn, Alabama on April 3rd.
