EUGENE, Ore. — Senior Owen Faulha of the Boston University men's track & field program wrapped his collegiate career in the javelin throw at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday (June 10) at Hayward Field.
Faulha finished 23rd on the NCAA's largest stage with a throw of 65.20 meters, earning an All-America Honorable Mention. His furthest throw came from his second attempt.
The Hardwick, Massachusetts native was the Terriers' first male qualifier to the NCAA Outdoor Championships since 2018, and he qualified after finishing ninth at the NCAA East First Rounds with a school-record throw of 67.88 meters. Entering that meet, Faulha was ranked 46th of 48 throwers and still moved onto the national championships. He was the 2025 Patriot League champion in the javelin and was the lone men's javelin representative from the Patriot League to earn a spot in Eugene this season.
Faulha ends his Terrier career as the top javelin thrower in BU history and the only Terrier men's thrower to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 21st century.
