Cejnarova Chosen as PL Golfer of the Month

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Sophomore Adela Cejnarova of the Boston University golf team was chosen as the Patriot League Female Golfer of the Month, the conference announced on Thursday.
Cejnarova won both tournaments she entered in April, including the Patriot League Championship. Her 54-hole score of 222 (72-74-76) was a Patriot League Tournament record and her opening-round 72 became the new conference championship standard. Cejnarova was also named Most Outstanding Golfer and she was an All-Patriot League First-Team selection.
In addition to her win at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club, Cejnarova chipped in for par on the first playoff hole at the Brown Bear Invitational to claim her first collegiate victory. Her back-to-back 72s had her at two-over after 36 holes before her terrific short game propelled her to the trophy.
The Prague, Czech Republic, native enters the NCAA Regional in San Antonio, Texas, having carded eight straight rounds in the 70s. Cejnarova was also named Patriot League Golfer of the Month for October.
