BOSTON - A total of 98 student-athletes participated in graduation ceremonies this weekend as part of Boston University's 142nd commencement exercises.
Emmy-winning syndicated talk show host and former Today co-anchor Meredith Vieira delivered the All-University commencement speech before nearly 7,000 BU graduates Sunday afternoon at Nickerson Field.
Following the festivities, student-athletes with friends and family gathered together at the BU Softball Field for a reception hosted by Director of Athletics Drew Marrochello.
The seniors of the men's rowing team were unable to participate due to the Eastern Sprints taking place Sunday but will have their own special ceremony on Monday.
