Golf Team Announces Spring Birdies

BOSTON - The Boston University golf team is excited to announce its 2016 Spring Birdies Drive, head coach Bruce Chalas announced on Tuesday.
The Terriers are inviting alumni, friends and family to pledge a gift for every birdie that the team sinks this season. BU recorded 98 birdies during the fall semester which helped raise over $3,000 for the program. Each pledge helps provide a first-class experience on the course and in the classroom for the Terrier golfers.
BU enters the spring as the defending Patriot League champion and will look to return to an NCAA Regional for the second straight year. The Terriers' spring schedule begins on Feb. 28 with the opening round of the 54-hole Kiawah Island Classic.
